Hey there

Welcome to our brand spanking new newsletter. We think it rocks and hope you do too :)

This month we look at Cape Town. Why?

Because summer is here! That means it's getting hot, the skirts are getting shorter, the lads' shirts are off and the beaches and braais (BBQs) are all fired up.

If you're looking for a few good reasons to escape the cold and enjoy the Cape Town summer, then read on.

'Till next month. Have a blast. Hope to see you in Cape Town!

Cape Town...

Cape Town - like New Orleans, like Madrid, like Dublin - is one of those places where hedonism is considered more a celebrated way of life than a dangerously amoral condition.

Nothing Beats Summers in Cape Town

The heat is on in the Mother City - Cape Town to those who have yet to visit!

Summer is in full swing and the beginning of the festive season, which seemed a bit delayed this year, has finally sprung up brightly, colouring shop windows and shopping malls. After experiencing a cold German Christmas last year I am super excited to spend long lazy days in the hot sun on Camps Bay beach and cooling off in the chilly Atlantic Ocean, before spending endless evenings around a braai (best BBQ’s in the world, only in South Africa) with ice cold Savanna ciders and good South African beer!

Why would you want to go anyplace else when everything is right here in the Western Cape? Not only do you have the sights and sounds of the Mother City (where 3 days is barely enough time to explore), you might find the road takes you on an even more magical journey eastwards to the warmer Indian Ocean and the lush, crisp air of the Garden Route, or west passing through stunning Namaqualand towards the desert landscapes of Namibia.

So all roads DO lead to Cape Town - the southernmost city in Africa! Spectacular views from the top of Table Mountain, summer concerts in the botanical gardens, wine routes, nature reserves, shopping, whales and sharks and penguins…. Where do you start?! Come and make some discoveries for yourself!

All I can say is, there is nothing like Cape Town in summer!

Happy Travels,
